The kids frequently have the opportunity to explore electricity and electronic circuits in the STEAM Room programming. Children as young as 7 years old have created electric motors from raw materials, and older children cooperated to make Squishy Circuit dough, a material developed by the University of St. Thomas school of Engineering, The University of St. Thomas Young Scholars Program, and the 3M Foundation.

Visit the University of St. Thomas site for more information on Squishy Circuits, or as Electric Play-doh as the kids call it.
